This journey was a homecoming. Our family’s roots are in Costa Rica, and we returned together to celebrate a granddaughter’s graduation. From our home base in Puerto Viejo, we traveled to Limón, the family’s hometown, to join the Día de la Persona Negra Grand Gala Parade and walk the streets where our story began.
